Ahhh the rest position. You know it’s spicy when your hands go to your knees.
OPEN UPDATE:
The Open will Start February 22nd and the workouts will be announced each Wednesday evening. The ruling states that you will have to submit your scores by Sunday night. Because of Eric and my schedule with traveling most weekends and then need to be there we will be substituting the Thursday evening classes (4:30 and 5:30) for an Open competition. So for those of you just looking to attend that class you will need to come to one of the morning classes, and for those of you looking to compete that will be the 2 hour window that you will do the workout. Please let us know if you are planning on competing so we can have an idea on how many to expect. Having said that we do encourage ALL of our members that have the desire to compete to do so. If we need to extend the time we will, but this is not a competition for only a select few. The Open is designed to be incredible inclusive of a variety of abilities. You will still be challenged for sure, but you will likely be able to continue participating for at lest the first few weeks. Let us know… this is about FUN and putting to use all that YOU have WORKED so hard for. ENJOY IT!!!

For the first time ever, I’m seriously considering coming up with an excuse not to be able to make it to a workout
. Ouch.
So Chris do we have to be competing to attend afternoon workouts?
I prefer descending. Thanks for asking after you post this gnarly WOD. Bassam, you better be there tomorrow morning.
Descending for sure. But now if enough of us say that i assume u will increase ascending just bc u guys are feisty.
Really good comments about the Open, Chris. Last year, it was fun to participate, and there was great energy each week during the WODS. As far as being inclusive, absolutely. Even Jake, as pathetically weak as he is, was able to participate.
Ouch
