    I like to stay up late drinking whisky. Too hard to pin down which has a bigger impact on performance.

    Hydration! I have had PT tests after 3 days of little to no sleep and have scored almost as high as my best scores. But being dehydrated from not consuming enough water to stay reasonably hydrated has caused me to test pretty poorly.

    Hey Mike D., Just noticed that the IOC has decided to boot wrestling out of the Olympics. Is it just me, or does that make a big, bold statement regarding the athleticism (or lack thereof) of wrestlers compared to other athletes participating in more-mainstream sports (i.e. they are still in the Olympics) like basketball and ski racing?

    Addy, don’t forget all of the other great sports that are still in the Olympics. BMX, table tennis, badminton, skeet shooting, trampoline, golf, and race walking. All incredible athletes.

    Gone is wrestling, along with tug-of-war, underwater swimming, and baseball. Mediocre athletes will now have to put their time into playing golf to fulfill their Olympic dreams.
