Comments: Nutrition or Working Out, what’s more important?

  • Barry W says:

As I read somewhere on a CrossFit blog, you can’t out-train a poor diet.

  • Mike D. says:

It depends upon what your goals are. I’ve seen some athletes at the top of their game eat garbage, and still out-perform the competition, night in and night out. So if your goal is to be an elite athlete, training and practice are probably more important. However, if your goal is to be healthy and happy, with a good chance to play and ski with your grandkids, I think nutrition is more important.

  • Bonita says:

    Both are equally important….

  • Shannon D. says:

“Working out” and poor nutrition can only get you by for so long! Nutrition is more important for long term health. Without the proper nutrients for your body (down to the cellular level) it will stop functioning. Nutrition is our first medicine. Physical activity and nutrition ARE both important, but what you put in your body weighs more than “working out” in the big picture.

Nutrition. I like eating well so I can work out well. And I want to play as long as I can 😉
